As a founding partner of Midwest Fertility Specialists, Dr. Laura Reuter is dedicated to guiding her patients through their fertility journey with comprehensive and personalized care. Her goals are to help make the best decisions for each patient’s unique situation and provide a respectful and compassionate experience.

Dr. Reuter’s path to a career that focuses on women's reproductive health included an undergraduate degree in chemistry with honors from Cornell University. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Illinois, completed residency at Wayne State University in OB/GYN, and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Illinois. She has been board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology since 1995, with a career that includes over 24 years of clinical experience. She has also been recognized on Indianapolis Monthly magazine’s list of top doctors.

Dr. Reuter serves as the Medical Director of in vitro fertilization (IVF), in which she focuses on pregnancy outcomes of assisted reproductive technologies. She is a proponent of preimplantation genetic screening of embryos and elective single embryo transfer to reduce multiple pregnancies and miscarriages associated with IVF. Ovulation induction, egg donation, fertility preservation and reproductive aging are among her areas of clinical interest and expertise.

Married to a physician, Dr. Reuter has three children and a golden retriever. Her hobbies include hiking, snow skiing, music and travel, but family is what she considers the most important aspect of her life. She is truly passionate about helping all Hoosiers achieve their dream of building a family.
